Reading Matters: Have you been "Sold a Story?"
Nov 29, 2022Only 35% of fourth grade students are proficient readers, according to the NAEP. That means that 65% of fourth graders in the united states are not reading at grade level. How is that possible? Because the dominant paradigm in education is based on disproven ideas about how children learn to read.
